Your Nighthawks wrapped up a great spring practice wednesday with an impressive showing in the jamboree. The boys played hard and as a team. Thank you coaches for the positive attitude that you are instilling in this team and allowing the atmosphere for its continued growth. The comraderie amoung the boys is unlike what we have ever seen. Bonds are being formed and traditions are being started.

Thanks parents for getting your boys out to practice. We know this is a busy time with end of school activities.

Look forward to seeing everybody on july 18th.

2015 Season Comes to a Close

Congratulations to the 2015 Memphis Nighthawks on a hard fought season. If you want to be the best, you must learn from the best and this year your Nighthawks played the 4A and 3A homeschool national champions, a TSSAA D2 semi-finalist, and an Alabama homeschool state champion. Every drill we practiced, every play we ran, and every game we played we did so that we could learn from our mistakes and come out better for it in the end. We will take what we learned this year as we go into the off-season so that next year, we will be the best. Let the off-season training begin.

Nighthawks Defeat Booker T. Warriors

nhfootballlogoYour Memphis Nighthawks pulled out the win tonight in their usual huddle-up, no-hurry fashion 20-14 against the Warriors. Evan Merryman led the way with 15 carries for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. Drew Sartain was second in rushing with 68 yards on only 8 carries. The win was sealed after Avron Townsend blocked Booker T’s punt directly into Evan, who then streaked his was down the field for the final score.

The Nighthawks are now 2-1 on the season and will face Hamilton High School in a neutral contest @Whitehaven next week.

The Nighthawks hudl page is officially up! Hudl is one of the main tools players can use to get noticed by colleges, so help support them by watching their highlights after each game. The more views they get, the more they’ll be seen by colleges.  Check back after each game to watch them. You can find our Hudl page by clicking Here.
